Job Description
Paleovalley and Wild Pastures are seeking a highly motivated Creative Strategist to join our Growth Marketing team. This is a fully remote, US-based position, offering a unique opportunity to drive significant impact for our Wild Pastures brand. You will be instrumental in shaping the creative strategy that fuels our growth, from initial ad concepts to the complete conversion funnel.
In this role, you will transform performance data into compelling ad concepts, focusing on new hooks, angles, and formats. Your strategic vision will extend beyond the ad itself, encompassing the entire customer journey, including landing page experiences and checkout flows. When new funnel elements are required, you will define specifications and brief our technical team for development.
This position demands a high degree of independence. Reporting to the Creative Manager and collaborating closely with the Wild Pastures media buyer, you will conduct your own research, make autonomous decisions on full-funnel strategy, and proactively bring forward innovative ideas. Your work will primarily involve strategizing, developing detailed creative briefs, and meticulously mapping the path from advertisement to purchase. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives at the intersection of data analysis and creative craft, operating effectively with minimal day-to-day supervision. You will play a crucial role in enhancing core marketing KPIs such as ROAS, nCAC, MER, and CPA.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a high-volume pipeline of performance-driven creative concepts across hooks, messaging, angles, and formats to fuel continuous testing and growth.
- Design full-funnel strategies, ensuring every concept maps effectively to a landing page and checkout flow for optimal conversion.
- Write clear, strategic creative briefs that provide editors with compelling scripts, hook variations, visual guidance/references, and platform-specific requirements across Meta and YouTube.
- Submit landing page briefs to the tech team when a new funnel is required for a concept.
- Craft creator briefs that translate strategy into clear, conversational direction with natural talking points for on-camera talent.
- Analyze creative and funnel performance data to identify winning patterns, detect creative fatigue, and uncover opportunities for optimization and iteration.
- Iterate on successful ads with new hooks, formats, and messaging to extend their lifecycle and maximize performance.
- Conduct independent market research (e.g., Foreplay, Meta Ad Library, competitor funnels) and proactively bring forward creative and funnel ideas.
- Partner closely with the Wild Pastures media buyer to align creative, funnel, and scaling priorities.
- Collaborate with the Creative Manager and Creative Operations team to align strategy, production priorities, and execution.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, or direct response marketing.
- Proven experience developing or influencing high-performing paid social ad creative.
- Demonstrated ability to think in full funnels, understanding how landing pages and checkout flows impact conversion.
- Comfortable operating independently and driving your own research with limited day-to-day direction.
- Strong understanding of paid social advertising platforms, including Meta and YouTube.
- Experience applying creative testing frameworks to optimize campaign performance.
- Working knowledge of direct response marketing principles.
- Experience analyzing marketing performance data and translating insights into actionable creative and funnel direction.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clear briefs and collaborate effectively across teams.
Benefits & Perks
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage (100% employer-paid dental/vision, with a small monthly medical premium for employees).
- Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) to support work-life balance and rest.
- Paid sick time for when you need it.
- Six (6) paid holidays each year.
- Paid parental leave for growing families.
- 100% company-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance.
- 401(k) retirement plan with up to a 4% company match after one year of service.
- Monthly product stipend or access to perfectly imperfect damaged products, allowing you to enjoy the nutrient-dense foods you help bring to others.
