Future Finance is pioneering the next generation of financial media, offering a daily newsletter that demystifies markets, investing, economics, and wealth creation. Our goal is to make complex financial information engaging, actionable, and easily understandable for a modern audience.

We aim to become an indispensable daily resource for ambitious professionals eager to become smarter investors and more informed consumers of financial news. Our strategy is not to outspend competitors, but to out-think, out-create, and out-connect everyone else in this dynamic space.

We are seeking a creative and relationship-driven Growth Marketer to join our team. This role is not about scaling large ad budgets on platforms like Meta or Google. Instead, we are looking for someone who can identify hidden growth opportunities within our newsletter, brand, content library, and network.

You will be an operator focused on achieving significant subscriber growth without substantial ad spend. Your responsibilities will include building strategic partnerships, creating highly shareable content, designing effective referral loops, and unlocking invaluable distribution channels that cannot be bought. You will collaborate closely with our writers and publishers to fuel this organic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue newsletter swap and cross-promotion partnerships with complementary audiences.

Build a robust SEO content strategy to generate compounding inbound traffic over time.
Design and optimize subscriber referral programs using platforms like SparkLoop, Beehiiv Boosts, or custom solutions.
Identify critical moments in the subscriber journey where readers are most inclined to share content.
Test various referral incentives, mechanics, and messaging to maximize word-of-mouth growth.
Track viral coefficient and systematically engineer improvements to enhance organic spread.
Identify and engage with relevant online communities (e.g., Reddit, Facebook Groups, Discord, Slack) where our audience resides.
Develop a genuine presence and contribution strategy within these communities, focusing on providing value over spam.
Explore webinars, Twitter Spaces, and live events as effective tools for subscriber acquisition and retention.
Build relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets to secure earned media and press coverage.
Report weekly on key growth metrics, channel performance, and strategic next steps.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in growth marketing, content marketing, or audience development.
Demonstrated success in organically growing an audience, community, newsletter, or media brand without primary reliance on paid advertising.
Exceptional writing skills, capable of crafting effective pitches, partnership emails, landing pages, and social media posts.
Resourceful and scrappy approach, with a proven ability to build impactful initiatives with limited budgets.
Relationship-driven professional who excels at cold outreach, building rapport, and closing partnerships.
Strong analytical capabilities to identify effective strategies and pivot when necessary.
A deep interest in stocks, Decentralized Finance (DeFi), financial markets, cryptocurrency, and broader finance topics (bonus).
Experience in running or growing a newsletter in any niche (bonus).
Familiarity with referral platforms such as SparkLoop, Beehiiv Boosts, or ReferralHero (bonus).
Experience with SEO and content-led growth strategies (bonus).
Background in financial media, investing, fintech, or personal finance content creation (bonus).
Existing relationships with creators, podcasters, or newsletters within the finance or business space (bonus).
Familiarity with newsletter platforms like Beehiiv, ConvertKit, or Kit (bonus).
Ability to think in systems and develop strategies that yield compounding results.
Strong opinions on what makes content truly shareable and impactful.
An obsessive reader of newsletters, keenly observing market trends and effective strategies.
Proficiency in writing cold partnership emails that consistently generate responses.
