Job Description
Metroll, a premier Australian manufacturer and supplier of steel building products, is seeking a motivated Internal Sales professional to join their Bunbury team. This role is crucial for building strong customer relationships, delivering effective solutions, and driving customer success across diverse markets including residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure.
As the primary point of contact for many customers, you will be instrumental in guiding them to the right solutions while ensuring a seamless sales and service experience. You will collaborate closely with manufacturing and operations teams to support sales growth and maintain vital customer connections throughout the South West region.
Key responsibilities include managing customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, preparing accurate quotations, and processing orders efficiently. You will also be responsible for providing product information, technical support, and assisting with customer account management. Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Prepare quotations and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, builders, contractors, and trade customers
- Provide product information and technical support on Metroll's range of steel building products
- Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure customer requirements are met
- Follow up quotations and identify opportunities to secure new business
- Assist with customer account management and sales administration
- Resolve customer queries and provide outstanding customer service
- Support the external sales team in driving business growth
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records
Qualifications
- Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, sales support, or account management
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficient computer skills and experience using business systems
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience within building products, manufacturing, steel, construction, roofing, fencing, or related industries (Highly Regarded)
- Knowledge of steel building products or the construction sector (Highly Regarded)
- Experience using ERP systems such as Pronto (Highly Regarded)
