Job Description
Join Sidetrade's dynamic APAC SMB division, "ezyCollect by Sidetrade," as an Account Executive and drive significant revenue growth. You will be pivotal in acquiring new customers by mastering value-based selling and collaborating closely with business development, marketing, and customer success teams.
Your role will involve educating prospects, understanding their business objectives, and articulating the benefits of our AI-powered SaaS software. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to securing long-term partnerships, and negotiate agreements while maintaining accurate CRM records.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive net new business sales into SMB accounts.
- Educate people over the phone, earn prospect trust, and understand business goals.
- Articulate SaaS software benefits within the prospect's context.
- Build momentum through structured discovery, solution mapping, and objection handling.
- Manage the sales cycle from opportunity conversion to deal closure.
- Negotiate agreements and maintain sales records.
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and develop long-term partnerships.
- Convert qualified leads into new customers through a structured, consultative sales process.
- Run compelling product demos (virtual or in-person) connecting pain points to business value.
- Craft tailored proposals and commercial agreements.
- Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene, forecasting discipline, and CRM updates (HubSpot).
- Collaborate with BDRs, Partner Managers, and Sales Leadership to refine closing strategies.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a similar consultative AE selling role with previous BDR/cold calling experience.
- Background in a SaaS Fintech company, ideally with accounting/ERP B2B sales, payments technology experience, or similar apps.
- Finance or business-related background, or experience in a wholesale/manufacturing environment.
- Tech-savvy with experience in CRM software like HubSpot and other productivity/AI tools.
- Proven ability to lead simple and complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements.
- Strong presentation skills for in-person and virtual meetings with stakeholders such as CFO, Financial Controller, and technical teams.
- Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
