Job Description

Join John Brooks Company, a leader in fluid handling solutions for over 80 years, as a Bilingual Technical Sales Representative.

This remote role focuses on providing expert technical sales support for spray and valve products across Quebec. You will be instrumental in generating and closing sales opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving territory sales targets.

Your responsibilities will include consultative field sales, building strong customer relationships, recommending customized solutions, and managing CRM data. You will collaborate with management, suppliers, and other team members to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide top-quality field technical sales support for spray and valve products, systems, and automation.
  • Prospect and generate sales opportunities and leads.
  • Establish and maintain professional business relations with new and existing customers.
  • Service existing customers and drive new territory growth.
  • Visit customers to review products and applications, and recommend custom solutions.
  • Manage CRM data effectively.
  • Participate in joint calls with management, suppliers, and other division representatives.
  • Engage in continuous learning through supplier and factory training.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in a technical field.
  • Fluency in both French and English (oral and written).
  • Minimum 1-3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in industrial spray and/or valve products.
  • 3-4 years of experience with industrial system review and calculations.
  • A hunter mindset with strong technical aptitude and a general understanding of industrial processes.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal savvy to build and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Strong presentation skills and experience preparing professional PowerPoint decks.
  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Working knowledge of industry products, systems, and applications (desirable).
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software systems (desirable).
