Job Description

BE Power Equipment is seeking a dedicated HR Manager to oversee all human resource functions within our dynamic organization.

In this vital role, you will be instrumental in managing the entire employee lifecycle, from attraction and recruitment through to development, retention, and offboarding. You will stay abreast of the latest HR trends and best practices, ensuring our policies and procedures are current and effective.

Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering impactful employee training programs, advising on organizational policy changes, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory matters. You will also lead employee engagement initiatives and utilize data analysis to inform strategic personnel decisions.

Key duties also involve maintaining accurate personnel records, contributing to operational budget planning, and providing valuable input into our compensation and benefits programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage human resource activities across the employment lifecycle (Attraction, Recruiting, Onboarding, Development, Retention, Offboarding).
  • Maintain knowledge of current developments in HR area of expertise.
  • Develop and deliver employee training programs.
  • Recommend and communicate organizational policy changes.
  • Advise on legal and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Lead and support employee engagement activities.
  • Analyze data to inform personnel decisions.
  • Maintain personnel records, create operational budgets, provide input and insight to compensation and benefits programs.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources or Business, with minimum of three to five years in Human Resources.
  • Experience as a Human Resources Manager/Business Partner in a multiple Manufacturing or Distribution Center business unit environment.
  • Excellent communicator (written, verbal).
  • Working knowledge of Canadian and US Employment Standards (including the nuances of same across State lines).
  • A strong understanding of HR data and metrics.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office, HRIS (Payworks, Workable, Bamboo).
