Job Description

Man Group, a leading global alternative investment management firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Apprentice to join its dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule interviews within a 1-business-day SLA, including sending calendar invites, booking rooms, and arranging logistical requirements.
  • Send candidate email confirmations, provide location details, and add candidates to building reception as needed.
  • Set up additional interview functionality, such as code interview links and login credentials.
  • Advance candidates to the interview stage in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Maintain interviewer spreadsheets, including updating on-call rotas, interviewer rotas, and planners.
  • Respond promptly to urgent matters like interview cancellations, no-shows, and last-minute changes.
  • Liaise with senior management administrators to coordinate availability.
  • Monitor the team mailbox daily, forwarding requests or responding directly as appropriate.
  • Process agency invoices and purchase orders (POs).
  • Shadow experienced team members in sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement activities.
  • Partner with Senior Talent Acquisition team members to understand hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Assist in writing and posting job descriptions under supervision, focusing on inclusivity and engagement.
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach via platforms like LinkedIn and job boards, representing Man Group professionally.
  • Support candidate communications, including interview scheduling, confirmations, and status updates.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track candidates, update records, and manage workflows.
  • Support team reporting by maintaining accurate ATS data and producing basic reports.
  • Partner with the Emerging Talent Partner to manage university outreach and career fairs.
  • Support emerging talent events, including work experience programs and insight days.
  • Participate in the selection and screening process for Man Group's emerging talent programs.

Qualifications

  • A strong interest in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
