Job Description
Qatara Human Resources Management and Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join their dynamic team in Egypt.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in leading the architectural design process for complex projects. Your expertise will ensure that all design requirements are met with innovation, functionality, and strict adherence to quality standards and programming needs.
You will oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful and timely project completion. A key aspect of this position involves mentoring and guiding junior architects, providing them with technical expertise and fostering their professional growth.
Effective communication with clients to understand their vision, present design concepts, and integrate feedback will be essential. You will also collaborate closely with engineering teams to address technical challenges and ensure the feasibility and accuracy of designs.
Maintaining the highest standards of design quality, reviewing architectural plans, and ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations are core responsibilities. Furthermore, you will facilitate collaboration among all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants, to ensure seamless project execution.
Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies will allow you to integrate advancements into the design process, enhancing project outcomes. You will also support HSE initiatives, contributing to a safe and compliant work environment.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process for complex projects, ensuring innovative and functional solutions that meet client needs and comply with regulations.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and design team members, providing technical expertise and fostering professional development.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback.
- Ensure the technical accuracy and feasibility of designs, coordinating with engineering teams to address structural and technical challenges.
- Maintain high standards of design quality, reviewing and approving architectural plans and drawings for compliance and accuracy.
- Ensure that all designs and projects adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate collaboration between different stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants, to ensure project alignment and smooth execution.
- Prepare and oversee detailed architectural documentation, including drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, integrating relevant advancements into the design process to enhance project outcomes.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Leadership abilities to oversee and mentor junior architects, coordinate with consultants, and manage project timelines and budgets.
- Creativity and innovation to develop unique design solutions.
- ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience, with 5 years of relevant experience.
- 2 years of GCC experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or any related field.
