Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our esteemed organization and play a pivotal role in shaping our architectural projects.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire architectural design process, from conceptualization to final delivery. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that all projects meet stringent quality standards, comply with design intent, and align with programming requirements.

This role offers the opportunity to lead significant interior fit-out projects, where you will develop functional, high-quality solutions tailored to client needs and regulatory frameworks. You will also manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful and timely project completion.

Furthermore, you will mentor junior architects, providing essential technical guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment. Effective liaison with clients to refine design concepts and incorporate feedback will be a key aspect of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of interior fit-out projects, ensuring functional, high-quality solutions that meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Mentor junior architects and provide technical guidance to the design team.
Liaise with clients to develop design concepts and incorporate feedback.
Prepare and review fit-out drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
Coordinate with MEP, structural, and specialist consultants to ensure technical feasibility and constructability.
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and site progress to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, authority requirements, and industry regulations.
Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues.
Stay updated on fit-out materials, technologies, and industry best practices to enhance project outcomes.
Support HSE initiatives and comply with company and IMS policies.

Qualifications

Comprehensive knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and regulations.
Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Leadership abilities to oversee and mentor junior architects, coordinate with consultants, and manage project timelines and budgets.
Creativity and innovation to develop unique design solutions.
ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or any related field.
Minimum 8 years of working experience, with 5 years of relevant working experience.
2 years of GCC experience is a plus.
