Job Description
Urbacon Saudi Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join their esteemed team. This role is crucial for ensuring all architectural project requirements are meticulously coordinated and adhere to the highest standards of quality and design intent.
As a Senior Architect, you will lead the design process for complex projects, developing innovative and functional solutions that align with client needs and regulatory frameworks. You will be responsible for overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful and timely project completion.
This position also involves mentoring and guiding junior architects, fostering their professional growth while providing essential technical expertise. Effective communication with clients to understand and incorporate their feedback is paramount. You will ensure the technical accuracy and feasibility of all designs, collaborating closely with engineering teams to resolve any structural or technical challenges.
Maintaining exceptional design quality through thorough review and approval of architectural plans and drawings is a key responsibility. You will also ensure strict adherence to local building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements. Facilitating seamless collaboration among clients, contractors, and consultants will be vital for project alignment and smooth execution.
Furthermore, you will prepare and manage detailed architectural documentation, including drawings and specifications. Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance project outcomes is expected. The role also includes supporting HSE initiatives and contributing to a safe working environment.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process for complex projects, ensuring innovative and functional solutions that meet client needs and comply with regulations.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and design team members, providing technical expertise and fostering professional development.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback.
- Ensure the technical accuracy and feasibility of designs, coordinating with engineering teams to address structural and technical challenges.
- Maintain high standards of design quality, reviewing and approving architectural plans and drawings for compliance and accuracy.
- Ensure that all designs and projects adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate collaboration between different stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants, to ensure project alignment and smooth execution.
- Prepare and oversee detailed architectural documentation, including drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, integrating relevant advancements into the design process to enhance project outcomes.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Leadership abilities to oversee and mentor junior architects, coordinate with consultants, and manage project timelines and budgets.
- Creativity and innovation to develop unique design solutions.
- ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills.
