Job Description
Ethena Labs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Execution Trader to join our dynamic trading team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in managing the operations, trading, and positioning of the assets backing our flagship product, USDe. You will be responsible for the seamless movement of collateral between custodians, operating our sophisticated in-house automated execution platform, and maintaining clear communication with key internal stakeholders. This position demands exceptional flexibility to navigate and respond to market events in a 24/7 environment, as your execution outcomes are central to the success of Ethena's innovative financial products.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage portfolio activities for USDe's backing assets, including spot digital assets, derivatives, and DeFi money market deployments.
- Execute trades efficiently using proprietary algorithms, adhering to strict risk parameters and current market conditions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure continuous trading coverage, primarily during your designated working hours (US or Asia), with flexibility for extended coverage when required.
- Contribute to the development and prioritization of engineering requests to enhance and mature existing trading tools.
- Monitor real-time market risks such as liquidity, volatility, and counterparty exposure, adjusting positions to mitigate risk.
- Provide regular, comprehensive updates to the Head Trader on portfolio performance, trade outcomes, and prevailing market conditions.
Qualifications
- Currently hold a senior trader level or higher position within electronic or quantitative trading.
- Possess established professional experience in cryptocurrency markets, including perpetual contracts and spot trading.
- Demonstrated experience using crypto exchange APIs and order execution workflows with at least two of the following exchanges: Binance, Bybit, Okx, Deribit, Bitget.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, trade evaluation, or backtesting, utilizing libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Strong prioritization and communication skills, essential for thriving in a high-paced, high-integrity, and high-outcomes environment.
