Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant tactical intelligence analyst to join our Global Security Operations Centre. You will play a vital role in supporting operations with the collection, monitoring, and analysis of intelligence requirements.

The individual will be expected to monitor real-time events, prioritize situations of potential concern to client assets and travelers, and provide timely, accurate, and relevant information in operationally focused tactical alerts and situation reports, all with minimal supervision. This position requires strong attention to detail, quick decision-making, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Intelligence collection & analysis: Collect, manage, and analyze information and intelligence about domestic and international events that pose a threat to client’s people, assets & reputation, using multiple internal and external resources. Identify threats, patterns, and trends to support operational decision-making. Examples of relevant event categories include, but are not limited to protests/activism, natural disasters, extreme weather events, transportation disruptions, political instability, terrorism, and crime.
  • Operational support: Conduct operational & tactical analysis and assist strategic analysis in support of security investigations and operations. Conduct due diligence initiatives as required.
  • Reporting & briefing: Provide real-time intelligence to support security operations, incident management, and crisis response. Develop threat assessments and situational awareness reports. Maintain intelligence databases and ensure timely dissemination of critical information.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with a cross-functional team of other global security professionals in support of the GSOC’s 24/7/365 operations. Partner and effectively communicate with team members and other departments to produce insights, develop analytics-driven solutions, and support intelligence gathering and risk analysis. Apply subject matter expert knowledge, educational and professional background in developing methodologies to evaluate and respond to global incidents & crises as requested.
  • Monitoring & surveillance: Proactively monitor and evaluate global, regional, and local events to identify threats, and remove false positives, that may pose a threat to the client’s people, assets & reputation and may have business continuity ramifications.
  • Training: Serve as a subject matter expert and upskill GSOC operators with basic tactical intelligence skills and capabilities. Participate in after-action reviews to identify lessons learned and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (international relations, international security, political science, journalism, regional studies, etc.).
  • 2-3 years of experience in government, corporate security, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with risk intelligence, incident response, and mass notification software.
  • Experience with travel risk management platforms.
  • Experience evaluating open-source information (media, social media, and government websites) to conduct incident analysis.
  • Ability to exhibit diplomacy, professionalism, and calm under pressure during critical incidents.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior communication skills, ability to brief senior management teams, develop and maintain positive relationships with all members of staff at all levels. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, additional language capabilities preferred.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under little to no direct supervision in high-pressure environments, able to make sound decisions in a timely manner during incidents and crises.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Able to multitask and manage detail-oriented tasks.
  • Able to manage and protect highly confidential and proprietary information.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
