Job Description

Apna is seeking a dedicated Trust & Safety Operations Executive to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and security of the platform, ensuring a safe environment for all users.

In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring user activities, investigating potential policy violations, and taking appropriate enforcement actions. Your role will involve direct communication with users to explain actions taken and guide them towards compliance.

You will also play a part in analyzing trends related to fraud and harmful content to improve policy effectiveness. Collaboration with other internal teams, such as verification and customer support, will be key to ensuring consistent policy application. Furthermore, you will contribute to refining guidelines and best practices to enhance the overall safety of the platform.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential, particularly when addressing policy violations. The capacity to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure is highly valued. Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools is also required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze reported content, user activities, and potential violations, ensuring compliance with platform policies.
  • Take appropriate actions, such as warnings, content removal, account suspensions, or bans, based on policy violations.
  • Investigate incidents by calling users who violated policies, clearly explaining the actions taken, and guiding them on how to comply moving forward.
  • Identify patterns related to fraud, hate speech, harassment, and other safety concerns to enhance policy effectiveness.
  • Work closely with verification teams, customer support, and sales to ensure consistent enforcement of trust & safety policies.
  • Contribute to refining guidelines, workflows, and best practices to continuously improve the safety of our platform.
  • Meet productivity and quality benchmarks set by the management team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma in a related field.
  • Experience in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, or Risk Management is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when handling policy violations with users.
  • Ability to work independently and make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite/Microsoft Office tools.
  • Laptop/Desktop with stable internet & power back-up required.
