Are you an enthusiastic and driven individual with a passion for football and a knack for creating exceptional experiences? Stranger Soccer, a rapidly growing sports-tech company, is seeking a Customer Experience and Growth Intern to join our dynamic team in the UAE.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the operational and growth aspects of a thriving consumer-facing sports business. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our players have a seamless, enjoyable, and safe football experience, while also contributing to the expansion of our local network.
As an intern, you will be an integral part of our small, dedicated team, working closely with the UAE Business Owner and interfacing with key stakeholders across the organization. You will have the chance to develop your skills in game hosting, player engagement, daily operations, and strategic growth initiatives, with ample opportunities for professional development as the company expands internationally.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an Official Host for selected football games weekly across Dubai and/or Abu Dhabi
- Ensure players have a smooth, fun, and safe game experience
- Represent the Stranger Soccer brand on the ground
- Collect player feedback to continuously improve the experience
- Assist with scheduling, logistics coordination, and venue communication
- Support marketing, customer service, and game operations tasks
- Help onboard new players and respond to inquiries
- Assist in recruiting, screening, and onboarding new Official Hosts
- Support scheduling and ensure proper venue coverage
- Identify inefficiencies in booking, hosting, or player engagement processes
- Propose actionable solutions to streamline operations and improve consistency
- Analyze feedback and trends to recommend operational enhancements
- Observe games and recommend enhancements (format tweaks, warm-ups, engagement activities, post-game processes)
- Research best practices from sports, fitness, and hospitality industries to elevate the UAE experience
- Contribute ideas and mini-projects to increase player acquisition and retention
- Assist in researching football communities, universities, corporates, and potential partners in Dubai & Abu Dhabi
- Support promotional events, community activations, and social content
- Collaborate with the UAE Business Owner and Singapore HQ team
- Gain insight into how a fast-growing sports-tech brand expands internationally
Qualifications
- Positive, proactive “can-do” attitude
- Comfortable interacting with customers and leading groups
- Strong interest in football (required)
- Hospitality, events, or sports management experience is a plus
- Must be based in UAE, with availability to travel regularly within your emirate
- Hospitality experience a PLUS
