Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Payroll Executive to manage the comprehensive compensation process for our employees.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of wages, ensuring all statutory deductions and taxes are handled correctly, and maintaining strict compliance with Nigeria's labor and employment regulations.

Your core responsibilities will include administering end-to-end payroll cycles, meticulously reviewing and inputting payroll data, and ensuring adherence to all relevant government and state regulations regarding wage calculations and tax withholdings.

You will also be tasked with generating essential payroll reports, balancing payroll accounts, and supporting audits. Furthermore, you will serve as the primary contact for employees, resolving any payroll discrepancies or compensation inquiries promptly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer end-to-end payroll (monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly) including calculating base pay, bonuses, overtime, and deductions.
  • Review and input payroll data (new hires, terminations, promotions, and leaves) into HR and payroll software.
  • Ensure wage calculations and tax withholdings comply with relevant government and state regulations.
  • Generate payroll reports, balance payroll accounts, and assist with audits and variance analysis.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees to resolve any payroll discrepancies, payment delays, or compensation inquiries.
  • Ensuring all Payroll transactions are processed efficiently.
  • Payment of Statutory Deductions and Calculations.
  • Preparation of Credit and Debit Note.
  • Preparation of Pay Slips.
  • Creating and Processing Invoices.
  • Cross-checking Invoices with Payments and expenses to ensure accuracy.
  • Managing the Company’s Accounts payable and receivables.
  • Sending bills and invoices to clients.
  • Tracking organization expenses.
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • BSc / HND in Accounting.
  • 3 - 5 years of working experience in account management with a reputable firm
  • Should stay in close proximity to the Ikota complex, VGC Lekki, Lagos
  • Should be proactive, detailed and with excellent Excel Skills.
