Job Description

Mythwright is seeking a highly experienced Senior Producer to join their dynamic team and drive the success of their game portfolio.

As a key player in this growing games publisher, you will be instrumental in managing the end-to-end development and release of high-quality titles. This role demands a strategic approach to overseeing projects, fostering strong relationships with external development partners, and ensuring alignment on creative vision, scope, schedule, and budget.

You will be responsible for maintaining clear visibility across all assigned projects, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and facilitating efficient workflows. Your expertise will ensure games are delivered smoothly, compliantly, and to the highest quality standards, contributing directly to the company's commercial success and market reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with external development partners.
  • Define clear production frameworks, milestones, and reporting structures.
  • Identify blockers, dependencies, and risks early and proactively.
  • Advise on planning, prioritization, and execution while respecting partner autonomy.
  • Own budget and schedule tracking, and clearly communicate changes and risks.
  • Act as the primary escalation point and drive timely, constructive resolution.
  • Maintain clear visibility across all assigned projects, ensuring progress is tracked accurately and communicated effectively.
  • Maintain schedules, milestone plans, and delivery forecasts.
  • Produce clear status reports, presentations, and post-mortems as needed.
  • Review progress against milestones, quality bars, and business goals.
  • Ensure partners have clear priorities and actionable next steps.
  • Identify scope, resourcing, and timeline risks early.
  • Facilitate regular check-ins, milestone reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Facilitate efficient cross-discipline workflows internally.
  • Keep production data accurate, current, and accessible.
  • Support decision making through clear risk and trade-off analysis.
  • Oversee the end-to-end release process, ensuring games are delivered smoothly, compliantly, and to the expected quality bar.
  • Coordinate release plans across development, QA, localization, marketing, and platform holders.
  • Ensure platform requirements, compliance, and submission timelines are met.
  • Take point on all platform holder / storefront submissions.
  • Identify and manage risks related to certification, localization, and performance.
  • Support go-to-market readiness by liaising with publishing and marketing teams.
  • Oversee post-launch plans, including patches, updates, and any live support.
  • Capture post-launch learnings to improve future releases.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a producer in game development or publishing.
  • Experience working with external studios across multiple projects and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the full game development lifecycle.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Experience handling first-party submissions.
  • Genuine passion for playing and understanding video games, especially the genres Mythwright specializes in.
  • High proficiency with industry-standard production tools, workflows, and documentation.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to build trust and influence across teams.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Data literacy and experience supporting informed decision-making.
  • Experience across PC and Console, with mobile experience being a significant advantage.
