Aurora is actively seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our expanding quality assurance team. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with our existing QA engineer to mature and enhance our quality control functions. You will be instrumental in improving processes, significantly reducing defects, and ensuring an exceptional product experience for our high-performing members.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the "Apple of concierge," a multi-billion dollar venture setting new standards for high-performance living at the intersection of technology, luxury, and longevity.
This role is primarily remote, operating within a +/-2h London timezone. However, it requires frequent trips to London, with a minimum of one week per month spent with the team from day one. Candidates must also be open to full relocation to London within six months of joining.

Key Responsibilities
- Expand and mature the quality assurance function alongside the existing QA engineer.
- Improve quality control processes to minimize defects.
- Ensure the delivery of an exceptional user experience for members.
- Conduct manual testing across web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
- Build and maintain API test automation frameworks using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for web applications using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Design and maintain automated tests for non-deterministic workflows, including AI/LLM-driven features.
- Create and maintain comprehensive and easily understandable documentation.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and maintain high productivity without compromising quality.
- Adapt quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in manual testing practices across web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
- Strong eye for detail and ability to thoroughly validate user journeys, business logic, integrations, and edge cases.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining API test automation frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Strong understanding of API contracts, data validation, and authentication mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test suites for web applications (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
- Strong understanding of test design, reliability, maintainability, and CI/CD integration.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining automated tests for non-deterministic systems (e.g., AI/LLM-driven features, agentic workflows).
- Comfortable defining oracles, tolerances, and stability strategies for non-exact-match assertions.
- Excellent writing skills for creating comprehensive documentation.
- Strong ability to prioritize, stay focused, and achieve goals efficiently.
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with mobile test automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest) (Bonus).
- Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment practices (Bonus).
- Exposure to eval frameworks for LLM-based systems (e.g., LangSmith, Braintrust, Promptfoo, DeepEval) (Bonus).
