Job Description

Join Inspired Thinking Group's Digital Engineering team, a dynamic unit focused on building world-class, enterprise-grade digital applications for prominent brands. We operate with mature Agile methodologies and leverage cutting-edge technology, providing every team member with opportunities for skill development and impactful project involvement.

As an Automated Tester, you will be instrumental in identifying and rectifying bugs, defects, and glitches across web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include writing, executing, and maintaining automated tests and regression suites, ensuring the highest quality standards.

This role offers a collaborative environment where your contributions are valued. You will work within cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Solution Architects, and Developers, to deliver exceptional digital solutions.

We are seeking individuals based in the UK who are comfortable with a hybrid working model, with the flexibility for remote work and occasional travel to our Midlands office. Key Responsibilities

Creating, developing, and improving automation suites for projects.
Developing automation tests within test frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
Collaborating with Development teams and stakeholders to resolve issues.
Writing and running test scripts and regression suites, accurately recording issues.

Qualifications

Curious, ambitious, and hardworking with a passion for fast-moving digital environments.
Experience in QA testing web-based applications and cross-browser functional testing.
Strong familiarity with bug tracking and reporting applications.
Experience writing test cases.
Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and the Java programming language.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Understanding of BDD (Behaviour Driven Development).
Experience with Automated API testing using RestAssured is a plus.
