Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to join our high-performing sales team serving the Geelong Region.

As the primary representative of our business in your territory, you will be instrumental in cultivating strong client relationships, identifying and capitalizing on new business prospects, and delivering customized solutions that provide significant value to our customers.

This role transcends traditional sales; it involves forging strategic partnerships, expanding market share, and making a demonstrable impact on business performance.

In this dynamic position, your responsibilities will include driving sales performance by achieving and exceeding targets through identifying and converting new business opportunities. You will present compelling proposals and product demonstrations, ensuring maximum profitability on all transactions.

Continuous development of product knowledge and staying abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings will be essential. You will represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to enhance market visibility.

Operational efficiency is also crucial, involving accurate management of quotes, orders, and customer records, alongside maintaining CRM activity, pipeline visibility, and reporting. Coordinating delivery timelines will ensure a seamless customer experience and high satisfaction levels.

Qualifications

  • Experience in capital equipment or industrial sectors (highly regarded)
  • Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
