As a Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind our bakery's sales team. Your leadership will ensure an exceptional customer experience, uphold product freshness standards, and inspire your team to achieve outstanding results. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend management responsibilities with hands-on involvement, including learning baking processes and contributing to community initiatives.

We are looking for individuals who embody outstanding customer service, possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, and have a minimum of one year's supervisory experience, ideally within the food service or hospitality industry. A foundational understanding of financial management, including cash handling, is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate the sales team to provide exceptional customer experiences.
  • Oversee product merchandising and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain bakery cleanliness and assist with production as needed.
  • Foster a positive and high-performance team environment.
  • Develop team members through training, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Engage in local community events and manage bread donations.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in a similar role (food service or hospitality preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of financial management, including cash management and banking.
  • Proven people management and leadership skills, including recruitment, selection, retention, staff development, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements including continuous standing/walking, constant use of hands, and lifting up to 22 kg.
