Job Description
Trilagen is actively seeking a Senior Sales Executive with a specialized focus on Identity Security to join our growing team. This role is dedicated to selling Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) projects to large enterprise clients, working collaboratively with customers and the SailPoint sales team.
Your primary responsibility will be to identify, source, and close new business opportunities for SailPoint Identity Security Cloud implementations. This includes targeting organizations that are migrating from legacy SailPoint IIQ, homegrown IGA solutions, or other end-of-life identity platforms.
This is a pure hunting role for a driven professional who thrives in environments where credibility is built through expertise and hustle, rather than relying on an established brand name. You will be instrumental in positioning Trilagen as the go-to implementation partner for SailPoint ISC, leveraging our 100% deployment success rate.
The market for identity security is robust, with significant M&A activity and a clear need for modern IGA solutions. Enterprises are actively seeking to replace aging systems and implement modern platforms to meet compliance demands and manage emerging requirements like AI agent governance.
You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and build strong relationships with SailPoint's commercial sales team to co-sell implementation SOWs. Generating your own pipeline through outbound efforts, personal networks, and industry events is key. You will target CISOs, VPs of Identity, and IAM leaders at Fortune 500 companies, translating complex IGA challenges into executive-level value propositions focused on risk reduction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close for identity governance engagements.
- Build and maintain deep relationships with SailPoint's commercial sales team.
- Identify net-new opportunities where enterprises are running legacy SailPoint IIQ, homegrown IGA solutions, Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), SUN Identity Manager, or have no IGA at all.
- Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, SailPoint partner referrals, personal network, LinkedIn, and events.
- Target CISOs, VPs of Identity, Directors of IAM, and IT Security leaders at Fortune 500 and large publicly traded companies.
- Position SailPoint ISC implementations tied to real business outcomes like compliance risk reduction, audit readiness, and operational efficiency.
- Translate IGA complexity into executive-level value.
- Scope engagements accurately.
- Collaborate with Trilagen's identity consultants during discovery and solution design.
- Build and execute a territory plan focused on SailPoint ecosystem opportunities.
- Register every deal in SailPoint's partner portal for deal protection and co-sell coordination.
- Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene in Salesforce.
- Attend SailPoint Navigate and identity industry events to build pipeline and deepen partner relationships.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities into AI agent identity governance and cloud practices (AWS & Oracle OCI).
Qualifications
- 7+ years of enterprise technology sales experience with at least 3 years selling identity security, IAM, or IGA solutions or consulting services.
- Direct experience selling SailPoint implementations (ISC, IIQ, connectors, access certification, provisioning workflows).
- Existing relationships with SailPoint's sales team (AEs, SEs, channel managers).
- Proven success at small or early-stage companies with limited brand recognition.
- Track record of exceeding quota through outbound prospecting and new logo acquisition.
- Experience selling $500K+ consulting engagements with 60–120 day sales cycles to CIOs, CISOs, VPs of Identity, and IAM leaders at large enterprises.
- Deep understanding of the IGA competitive landscape (SailPoint IIQ vs. ISC, OIM, SUN IDM, Saviynt, Omada, homegrown approaches).
- Hunter mentality and ability to build pipeline independently.
- Strong understanding of the SailPoint partner channel and sales team.
- Expertise in IGA, access certification, SoD, provisioning, and compliance.
- Comfortable selling without brand recognition.
- Entrepreneurial, self-directed, persistent, and resilient.
- Preference for candidates who have sold SailPoint ISC or IIQ implementations specifically, worked at a SailPoint implementation partner (under 200 people), closed IIQ-to-ISC migration deals, have named SailPoint AE and channel contacts, sold against Big 4 firms, closed six-figure and seven-figure identity consulting engagements, or have experience selling to financial services, healthcare, or higher education verticals.
