Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our growing marketing agency. This is a remote position, open to candidates within the United States, with a requirement for overlap with the Central Time Zone.
This role offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $60,000, plus a 10% commission on setup fees. Realistic first-year earnings are projected between $150,000 and $200,000, with uncapped commission potential.
You will be instrumental in expanding our agency's reach within a specialized niche of the financial services industry. As the first dedicated sales hire, you will inherit pre-qualified inbound appointments and play a key role in building our sales function from the ground up. Your responsibilities will include conducting 5-10 warm strategy calls weekly with pre-qualified buyers, engaging in consultative selling to financial advisors and firm owners, and collaborating with the founder to develop our sales playbook. You will also manage pipeline hygiene, contract execution, and reporting.
This position is not suitable for individuals seeking a pre-defined playbook or those who have not previously built sales functions from scratch. We are looking for a builder and a high performer.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Take 5-10 warm strategy calls per week with pre-qualified buyers
- Engage in consultative selling to financial advisors and firm owners
- Build out the sales playbook, including objection libraries, follow-up sequences, and CRM workflows
- Manage pipeline hygiene, contract sending, and closing deals
- Provide weekly close-rate reporting and post-call debriefs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of B2B closing experience selling retainers, coaching, consulting, or financial services
- Documented close rate of 25%+ on all warm leads
- Comfort with consultative sales to sophisticated buyers
- Proven track record of $150k+/yr performance-based compensation prior to this role
- A builder mindset – experience in shaping sales at a previous company
- US-based with availability during US business hours
