Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our prestigious luxury hotel in Lekki, Lagos. This role is critical for driving occupancy rates, cultivating new corporate accounts, and enhancing our brand presence in the competitive hospitality market.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and conducting thorough market research to stay ahead of industry trends. You will collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience and represent the hotel at key industry events. Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to attract new corporate clients and maintain relationships with existing accounts.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to maximize room occupancy and revenue.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity within the Lekki and wider Lagos area.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience from inquiry to check-out.
- Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.
Qualifications
- HND or University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Must be bilingual in English and Yoruba (spoken and written). Proficiency in Hausa or Igbo is a distinct advantage.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be capable of navigating the Lagos terrain effectively to meet clients and attend site inspections.
- Highly target-driven, self-motivated, with excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Must be ready to resume immediately.
