Job Description

Level Agency is seeking a strategic and insightful Strategy Lead to join our dynamic, fully remote team. This role is pivotal in guiding clients toward significant growth by transforming complex business challenges into actionable, data-driven strategies.

You will be responsible for developing integrated, cross-channel marketing plans, leveraging AI and advanced analytics to uncover key insights, and ensuring alignment across diverse teams. Your expertise will shape how we approach audiences, channels, messaging, and measurement, directly impacting client ROI and business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic direction for high-impact client engagements.
  • Translate business challenges into clear strategic priorities and growth opportunities.
  • Guide discovery and planning conversations with client stakeholders.
  • Develop growth roadmaps tied to measurable outcomes.
  • Clarify priorities and success metrics across teams.
  • Create strategy briefs that define business objectives, audience insights, positioning, channel strategy, and measurement frameworks.
  • Ensure cross-disciplinary teams start execution aligned around a shared strategic foundation.
  • Develop audience insights, competitive analysis, and market intelligence.
  • Translate research and performance data into clear strategic implications.
  • Partner with media, SEO, CRM, creative, and digital experience teams to shape channel strategy.
  • Align channel mix, sequencing, and investment logic with growth objectives.
  • Define measurement frameworks before activation begins.
  • Help teams interpret performance signals and translate insights into action.
  • Lead strategic narratives in Quarterly Business Reviews and planning sessions.
  • Connect performance data, insights, and business implications into clear recommendations.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to client stakeholders.
  • Lead conversations around growth opportunities and long-term strategy.
  • Act as the connective tissue across media, creative, SEO, CRM, web, and analytics teams.
  • Ensure strategy is embedded in execution across the entire client lifecycle.
  • Provide frameworks and guidance that strengthen strategic thinking across teams.
  • Help simplify complex challenges and elevate planning quality.
  • Contribute to agency POVs and category insights.
  • Support new business opportunities with strategic storytelling and positioning.
  • Actively integrate AI into strategic thinking and workflows, including research, insight development, and planning.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, brand strategy, integrated strategy, or growth strategy.
  • Experience developing integrated, cross-channel marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical ability to turn research and performance data into insights.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into clear strategic direction.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Experience collaborating with media, creative, digital experience, CRM, and analytics teams.
  • Comfort working in complex environments and bringing clarity to ambiguity.
  • Experience working in an agency environment (preferred).
  • Industry experience in education, CPG, or B2B (preferred).
  • Experience supporting annual planning or strategic roadmapping (preferred).
  • Experience presenting strategy to senior client stakeholders (preferred).
  • Proficiency in using AI tools for research, insight development, and strategic planning.
