Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 60-70 criminal defense cases from initiation to conclusion, ensuring all legal procedures are meticulously followed.
- Serve as the firm's primary contact point for clients, addressing inquiries and maintaining open lines of communication via text, email, and calls.
- Efficiently organize attorney calendars, client meetings, and consultations, ensuring all stakeholders are informed promptly.
- Organize and file essential case documents, including motions and discovery, in compliance with firm protocols.
- Leverage CRM systems like Clio and Case Status to maintain accurate case records and client communications.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in U.S. legal settings, ideally within criminal defense environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Clio Manage, Case Status, Google Workspace, and similar software.
- High attention to detail, especially concerning DUI technicalities and documentation.
- Ability to work independently, managing a high-volume caseload with minimal oversight.
