Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Programme Manager to lead the charge in delivering our groundbreaking Gender Equity Certification (GEC) program. This is a critical role focused on ensuring the program's successful execution, from initial planning through to scaling and ongoing governance.

In this position, you will be the driving force behind the program's success, working closely with senior leadership, technical experts, and partner organizations throughout Nigeria and Africa. Your primary objective will be to guarantee that the GEC framework is implemented with the highest standards of quality and effectiveness, fostering tangible progress in gender equity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of the GEC program, ensuring all milestones and timelines are met.
  • Manage program governance, including risk assessment, reporting, and continuous improvement of operational models.
  • Collaborate with partners, assessors, and trainers to define clear roles and ensure high performance.
  • Lead client onboarding processes and guide organizations through the assessment stages.
  • Ensure the confidential and secure handling of all evidence collected during assessments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Gender Studies, Business, or Law.
  • 7 to 10 years of progressive project management experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a senior program delivery role.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
  • Experience in gender equity, ESG, organizational development, or governance is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in planning, risk management, documentation, and effective stakeholder communication.
