Job Description
The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Technical Integration to spearhead a crucial initiative focused on creating dignified and fulfilling work for young Nigerians. This role is central to ensuring seamless coordination and harmonization across all technical program components, from agricultural inputs and production through to processing, logistics, marketing, financial inclusion, and youth innovation.
You will translate the program's strategy and Theory of Change into integrated, operational delivery frameworks, ensuring technical coherence between production systems, processing, market access, and financial inclusion. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and guide technical teams, foster high-level consortium discussions, and drive impactful change in agrifood value chains.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic technical leadership to harmonize program interventions across thematic components (inputs & production, processing & manufacturing, marketing & distribution, financial inclusion, youth enterprise, gender inclusion).
- Translate program strategy and Theory of Change into integrated, operational delivery frameworks across states and partners.
- Ensure technical coherence between production systems, processing, logistics, market access, financial inclusion, and youth enterprise support.
- Lead the development of integrated technical work plans that reflect interdependence across program components.
- Provide matrix oversight and technical coaching to all program component coordinators to enhance integrated delivery.
- Support high-level technical consortium discussions, ensuring the program’s integrated delivery model is understood and upheld.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Rural Development, or a related field.
- Extensive experience providing technical program leadership integrating multi-sector interventions, specifically in market systems, value chain development, and agricultural transformation approaches.
- Deep understanding of how agricultural value chains work from farm to market.
- Excellent technical partnership management experience with private sector and government actors across agricultural value chains.
- Excellent project management skills to manage multiple technical interventions.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and guide technical teams in field locations.
- Right to live and work in Nigeria.
