Job Description

Spot & Tango is seeking a dedicated Recruiter to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in scaling our HQ operations. This position offers the flexibility of being based remotely within the US or at our New York HQ.

In this exciting capacity, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers across diverse functions, including Customer Experience, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Strategy, and Product & Data. Your primary focus will be on cultivating robust and diverse candidate pipelines while ensuring an exceptional experience for every applicant.

This role is ideal for a collaborative individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building strong professional relationships, and is adept at facilitating efficient and thoughtful hiring processes. You will be a key contributor to our mission of enhancing pet health and happiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role needs, define profiles, and manage timelines
  • Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, job boards, and creative outreach
  • Screen candidates and coordinate interviews, debriefs, and next steps
  • Deliver a thoughtful candidate experience from first outreach through offer
  • Manage offers, compensation alignment, and candidate communications
  • Track pipelines, recruiting metrics, and hiring progress in our ATS

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of recruiting experience (in-house preferred; agency experience a plus)
  • Comfortable recruiting across multiple functions and levels, including hourly and salaried roles
  • Experience using Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter as daily tools to source, engage, and move candidates efficiently through the hiring process
  • Strong sourcing skills and confident candidate communicator
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple open roles at once
  • Collaborative partner who builds trust quickly with hiring managers
  • Excited to work at a fast-paced company
  • Dog lover is a plus!
