Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Visa Consultant to join our esteemed travel firm. This role is essential for providing expert guidance and support to clients navigating the complexities of visa applications for various international destinations.

Your primary responsibilities will include advising clients on necessary documentation, accurately filling out application forms, and ensuring all submissions are timely and complete. You will conduct client interviews, prepare fee quotes, and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, colleagues, and authorities. Staying abreast of changing visa requirements and immigration rules is paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on appropriate documentation for visa purposes, ensuring all documents are accurate and correct.
  • Filling of forms for clients
  • Oversee the completion of all relevant visa documents and ensure that they are received within the processing time limit.
  • Interview all clients and deal with all applications face to face and by post to ensure that the client is suitable.
  • Ensure that all of the information provided by the client is accurate and correct, preparing and checking all legal documents.
  • Prepare all fee quotes and any information required by clients, colleagues, or authorities.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all clients and colleagues.
  • Help the clients to obtain Visas and other documentation required.
  • Stay abreast with all relevant changes in visa requirements for various countries
  • Ensure proper understanding of immigration rules
  • Train staff to enhance their understanding of visa rules to help them to fulfill their roles to a high level.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of prior work experience as a Visa/Travel Consultant.
  • Must be fluent in English and French (Will be a bonus)
  • Must be motivated, energetic, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, as the job is centered on communication with the client, colleagues, and authorities.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines even when under pressure, whilst still being able to provide a high level of customer service.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Team-oriented thinking and action; Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations
  • High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools
