Job Description

TotalEnergies is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Lubricants Sales to lead our operations in Cambodia. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the lubricants market, capable of driving significant growth and profitability.

As the Head of Lubricants Sales, you will be entrusted with the full ownership of the Lubricants business P&L. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and executing robust sales strategies across the national market, ensuring our continued leadership and expansion within the Automotive Oil Segment in Cambodia. You will continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities, identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation.

A key aspect of this role involves providing accurate demand forecasts to the supply chain team, working collaboratively to optimize product availability and manage inventory working capital efficiently. You will report on sales performance, offering insightful analysis to senior management to inform long-term business planning and align with corporate financial objectives. Collaboration with the marketing team to design impactful promotional campaigns for both B2B and B2C segments is also essential. Furthermore, you will be responsible for nurturing strong relationships with key clients and partners, analyzing sales data to refine pricing and product offerings, and ensuring strict compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Leading and mentoring a dedicated sales team is central to this position. You will act as a manager-coach, focusing on achieving operational objectives, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment, and supporting the professional development of your team members. Additionally, you will collaborate with the legal team on initiatives to combat anti-counterfeit and smuggled products, safeguarding our brand integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Know, respect and ensure compliance with the Company's Code of Conduct.
  • Own the Lubricants business P&L.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for lubricants across the national market.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth across the Automotive Oil Segment in Cambodia.
  • Provide demand forecasts for all lubricant product segments to the supply team and work closely with them to ensure product availability and working capital optimization on inventory.
  • Report on sales performance and provide insights to senior management.
  • Support senior management to develop long-term business plans that align both corporate financial objectives and lubricants business.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design promotional campaigns and materials for B2B & B2C.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Analyze sales data to optimize pricing and product offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Manage and oversee the sales team to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
  • Act as a manager coach by focusing on delivering operational objectives, building an inclusive and collaborative working environment, and developing people.
  • Collaborate with the legal team on Anti-Counterfeit and Smuggle products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Automotive Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in management roles and 3 years in business or an equivalent field.
  • Technical skills: Strategic planning and execution, Business development, Distributor Management, Sales management, Market analysis and interpretation, Financial management (Budgeting, Cost, Pricing, P&L), CRM Software (Salsa Dynamic), Lubricants Product Knowledge.
  • Soft skills: Leadership & Adaptability (Lead by influence), Strategic Thinking & Decision Making, Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution, Communication, Presentation, and Negotiation Skill, Active Listening & Emotional Intelligence, Time Management & Delegation, Mentoring & Collaboration, Stakeholder relationship management, Respect for others.
  • Specific knowledge: Commercial awareness of the business in the Cambodia market (market trend, competitive environment, political, economy, etc.), Lubricants distribution channel in Cambodia.
  • Good command of Khmer and English (writing and speaking).
