Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our team in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Quebec. This full-time, permanent role offers a unique opportunity to represent Doman's comprehensive product lines and drive growth within the Quebec City territory.

In this position, you will be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with existing clients, actively promoting manufacturer programs, and identifying new business opportunities. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop existing accounts, representing all Doman product lines.
  • Promote manufacturers’ programs to clients.
  • Source new business opportunities within the Quebec City territory.
  • Establish and develop relationships with architects, specifiers, developers/contractors, engineers, and building owners.
  • Understand sales activities that are revenue generating and non-revenue generating.
  • Negotiate, solve problems, and structure deals effectively.
  • Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma (minimum requirement).
  • Post-secondary education in business or the building industry (preferred).
  • Formal sales training (an asset).
  • Strong experience building relationships with and selling to senior-level managers, owners, contract sellers, and buying decision makers.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence sales in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kilos) occasionally for product displays.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Valid passport for potential travel to the United States.
