Job Description

As a Key Account Manager at Whip Around, you will be instrumental in cultivating and expanding strategic relationships with high-value clients. Your primary focus will be on driving account growth, ensuring executive alignment, and delivering measurable customer outcomes to maximize long-term account value.

You will act as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor for your assigned accounts, ensuring they achieve significant business value and ROI through the effective utilization of Whip Around's solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans aligned with customer business priorities.
  • Identify and close expansion opportunities, focusing on upsells, cross-sells, and increasing product adoption.
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships across customer organizations.
  • Ensure customers realize measurable operational and financial value from Whip Around's platform.
  • Serve as the commercial relationship owner and negotiate pricing and contract terms.
  • Partner with Customer Success to plan and drive executive business reviews (EBRs/QBRs).
  • Map customer organizational structures, buying centers, and key influencers.
  • Act as an escalation point for critical customer issues and coordinate internal resources to resolve them.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 6+ years of enterprise SaaS/technology account management experience.
  • Proven success in managing and growing large strategic accounts.
  • Experience with Supply Chain application software, including Fleet Management SaaS solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with subscription/recurring revenue models.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with contract negotiations.
  • Experience in expansion pipeline development and management.
  • Proficiency in executive selling and advisory engagement.
