Job Description

Keywords Studios is seeking a dedicated English Moderator to join their vibrant team in Montreal. This role is integral to maintaining a positive and engaging environment for players within the video gaming community.

As an English Moderator, you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating all incoming community interactions across various social media platforms. Your duties will include identifying and removing prohibited or inappropriate content, as well as reviewing in-game chats and user-generated content to ensure adherence to community guidelines.

You will also play a key role in escalating any Real-Life Threats as needed and making sound judgment calls on debatable content and edge-case scenarios. This position requires excellent communication and writing skills, a passion for video gaming, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing all incoming community interactions on different social media platforms.
  • Moderating any prohibited and/or inappropriate content found therein.
  • Reviewing in-game chats and user-generated content for any prohibited and/or inappropriate content.
  • Escalating Real-Life Threats as needed.
  • Making justifiable judgment calls in regards to debatable content and edge case scenarios.

  • Comfortable with using VR devices.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks while managing your time efficiently.

  • Fast, yet thorough, reading skills.
  • Experience in a relevant, similar, or related field (an asset).
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends within the online community.
