Job Description

Positive Care & Development Foundation is seeking a dedicated Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to join our team in Cross River State. In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful implementation of our MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning) activities. You will be responsible for leveraging tools like NOMIS and MIS, conducting rigorous data quality assessments, supervising data collection processes, and preparing comprehensive reports that meet donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation and review of data submissions from community care workers.
  • Conduct routine data quality assessments and provide supportive supervision.
  • Collect, review, and validate service data prior to entry.
  • Identify and address data gaps, inconsistencies, and reporting delays.
  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring Global Fund compliance.
  • Train field teams on data collection methodologies and M&E tools.
  • Strengthen data accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and overall reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation.
  • Proficiency in using NOMIS and MIS tools.
  • Strong understanding of data quality assessment and reporting standards.
