We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Business Development & Marketing Officer to identify new business opportunities, drive customer acquisition, and secure high-value deposits.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strategic institutional relationships, promoting financial products, and contributing significantly to the organization's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, engage, and onboard High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs), corporate organizations, SMEs, and cooperative societies to expand the customer base.
Drive aggressive deposit mobilization initiatives to secure low-cost and stable funds while consistently achieving assigned targets.
Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
Cross-sell the institution’s digital products, loan offerings, and other financial solutions to both new and existing customers.
Develop and execute field and digital marketing campaigns to increase product awareness, customer acquisition, and brand visibility.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend monitoring to identify opportunities and recommend improvements to products and services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2–5 years of proven experience in business development, marketing, or deposit mobilization within the financial services industry.
Experience in a Microfinance Bank will be highly advantageous.
Excellent business development, sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Strong understanding of banking products, credit structures, interest rate dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior executives and decision-makers.
Proficiency in core banking applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing platforms.
