Job Description

Power International Holding is seeking a dedicated Employee Relations Officer to join their dynamic team in Qatar.

In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in cultivating a positive and productive work environment by fostering strong relationships between employees and the organization. You will be responsible for the consistent implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures, effectively addressing any grievances or conflicts that may arise, and actively promoting employee engagement and overall morale.

Furthermore, you will serve as a key resource, providing essential guidance and support to both employees and management on a wide range of matters, including employment laws, regulatory compliance, and internal company policies. Your contributions will also extend to the development and execution of initiatives designed to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote customer-centric services and fair, transparent people practices.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for smoother and more efficient daily operations.
  • Adhere to attendance protocols.
  • Provide comprehensive support to employees regarding all their queries.
  • Prepare and maintain employee files, ensuring all employee-related documents are accurately filed throughout their lifecycle.
  • Stay current with policy changes.
  • Administer HR services with precision and timeliness, ensuring high-quality standards in all transactions.
  • Execute transactions related to onboarding, offboarding, leave approvals, ticketing, medical insurance, reimbursements, personal information updates, generating business letters, and responding to HR queries.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE and QM policies, procedures, and controls to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, high-quality service delivery, and responsible environmental practices.
  • Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.

Qualifications

  • Proficient knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices in employee relations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for mediating conflicts, conducting investigations, and providing guidance.
  • Analytical skills for assessing employee feedback and identifying trends.
  • Empathy and emotional intelligence to understand employee needs and build trust.
  • Experience in conflict resolution, negotiation, and mediation.
  • ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • 2 years of GCC experience is a plus.
