Job Description

Unimacts Global is a leading contract manufacturer and total energy solutions provider, operating across renewable energy, traditional energy, and diversified industrial markets. We are seeking a dynamic Sales Director to spearhead our Wire and Cable business segment.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving business expansion within key segments like Distribution, Transmission, Data Centres, and Renewables. You will collaborate closely with global leadership to develop and implement growth strategies, explore new markets, and acquire new logos.

Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping new services and products through close collaboration with engineering and marketing teams. You will expertly manage client interactions, craft compelling presentations and quotations, and negotiate supply agreements. Representing Unimacts Global at trade shows and actively participating in team assemblies will also be key aspects of this position. Accurate monthly forecasting will be essential to streamline our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dissect the market to pinpoint and capitalize on opportunities to broaden our Wire and Cable customer base and unlock strategic accounts across Distribution, Transmission, Data Centres and Renewables market segments.
  • Team up with the global leadership to devise and roll out strategies bolstering business growth.
  • Keep a vigilant eye on the industry, identifying new markets, greenfield accounts and new logo acquisition to augment our reach.
  • Collaborate intensely with engineering and marketing mavens to sculpt new services and products, enhancing our business trajectory.
  • Steer client interactions with skillful crafting of presentations and quotations and negotiating supply agreements with a masterful touch.
  • Be the face of Unimacts Global in trade shows, while actively partaking in regular team assemblies.
  • Assist in streamlining the supply chain by providing precise monthly forecasts, enabling frictionless operation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or manufacturing engineering.
  • At least 8 years of experience in sales and delivering top-tier Wire and Cable and other critical infrastructure products to Power Transmission Utilities, Power Distribution Utilities, IOUs, Grid Operators, Data Centers / Hyperscalers / Colocation Operators and OEMs.
  • Deep understanding of various Data Centre, Utilities & Renewables markets including the East, Midwest, and Southeast, and their key players.
  • Insights into the Wire and Cable products domain, with a focus on PCB (and other electronics) market in North America.
  • Strong customer orientation complemented by adeptness in Fishbowl or analogous CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools such as Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
